I don't know if these statistics can be trusted. I was in London for about two weeks and, to be honest, I didn't see a single electric Ford. Perhaps the statistics refer to other regions.
Yes, with how many people are involved in a company as large as Ford, I could see someone not thinking about it and taking pictures, and throwing them up anyway.
I'll also laugh if the response was just a decoy, and it really did show stuff...
Push forward with new, compelling product.....
I'm still part way through reading American Icon (I don't read often, usually only on trips/planes), but one of the key things Mulally did was to push forward with development of new product.....without new, updated, compelling product, why should customers stick with the brand?
Ford can't just stop altogether until "something" comes along.
At least it's optional I guess? And it sucks that it was made 40% smaller for that heat pump.
I still revert to it's just another cut back from the customer perspective.
2026 Ford Bronco Sport Drops Adjustable Flood Light
According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport loses the adjustable liftgate flood light. For the 2025 model year, that feature was standard on all trims, including Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, Outer Banks, and Badlands models. The feature isn't gone completely, but is now optional on the Big Bend trim as part of the Convenience Package; it remains standard on Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands models.

I find it slightly amazing that European countries still do safety inspections on vehicles, where as its been discarded by most states in US, with them just doing an emissions test then slapping a sticker on.
