Going by the automated graphic they are using for it on the article, it looks like it uses some sort of liquid cooling too, going by those two pipes sticking out of it and it snaking around the upper part of the housing.
When/if they build a Bronco pickup, they should base it on the Australian Ranger Super Duty (Bronco SUPER DUTY) with an optional 3.0L diesel. They should also add a three row SUV based on the Expedition (Bronco MAX) with an optional 5.0L V8.

Well that explains why they dropped the other system they were working on back in May.
I hope that Ford has the HW and SW talent to make this work.
