Yea, don't bother considering a new 2026 Mustang Ecoboost RTR (or any new car, really) if you're evaluating a car to Autocross, Rallycross, and maybe track days too.    My friend in Indianapolis Region SCCA runs a 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth at their autocross events. Other used cars he recommends for proper autocross podium contender are: Mazda Miata ND Mini Cooper R56 and F55 with the B48 engine (S and JCW) Subaru WRX VA Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 & GR86 VW Golf R Mk7  BMW M235i/M240i F22 He says that light and compact is his preference for autocross cars, but that if you have to get a pony car his pick would be Chevy Camaro 6G with the 1LE performance package.

If the long term expectation (20+ years) is that most vehicles will be EV’s then you could just add the highway “gas” tax into the rate per kW purchased at charging station. Basically the same old system. You wouldn’t catch the home chargers but it’s a relatively easy solution otherwise. 

I was expecting a design at least 🤣. The transit isn't the sexiest thing on the road, but there's at least some styling effort put into it. It looks like someone forgot they had to come up with a design on may 20th and didn't start working on it until May 19th at 11 pm. 

Not to mention most autocrossers probably buy used.

They still haven't fixed the fuel pump issue on the Bronco FFS  

Just buy something else already, you don't want a Mustang FFS  

this would have been a good redesign of the fusion back in 2018 or so, but this just looks outdated now.

So basically it costs the same as a GT. This should have been RTR wheels and grille for like $1500. No need for it to be the same price as a GT.

No hybrid is a huge mistake.  Not a fan of the front end or droopy rear either.  Interior is nice.
