Yikes that photoshop/AI image is just a bit disjointed lol Maybe Ford is working on plan to build more Expeditions/Navigators in the US with whole Canadian tariff thing turning into a shitshow -
This is unexpected..... Is The Ford Excursion About To Be Resurrected? According to the latest Automotive News future product report, a new, large SUV with an extended range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain is slated to enter production at the brand new Tennessee Truck plant in 2029. That same report notes that this new model will be a bit larger than the existing Ford Expedition, which is currently the biggest such model in The Blue Oval's lineup. Putting it at TTP seems odd if it's bigger than Expy, because that'd mean putting a full size platform there in addition to the T6-based F-100/Ranger?

They showed it in the release images, and it's featured in 5:05 in the video posted earlier in the thread...

Chicago, when it was on 3 crew, could do about 350K per year. That was with Taurus, Explorer, Police Interceptor Variants and MKS for a while.

Reminds me of the old tv show “The Rat Patrol”.

Food for thought...maybe the 25K utility is reworked C2 that uses the lessons learned from UEV program for cost savings and the C2 platform goes through a refresh cycle starting with the Cheap Utility, then Bronco Sport, Maverick and whatever else is coming off C2. They might be able to squeeze out an extra 40K units at the existing plant without spending a huge amount of $$$ because of the new manufacturing processes. -
Also exports to ROTW possibly. Mexico + Canada is 150k F-150 sales. If 40% of that is Super Duty (since last year it looks like 40% of F-series produced are super duty) then those two can absorb 60k and the other 40k capacity can go to the US. That hurts the margin of the plant but unless those sell at a loss it would make sense still.
