Yup, I'm not disagreeing with you. The Nautilus component is an unforeseen issue due to a recall hold, so it's hard to fault sales data on an aberration like that. I'm sure we'll see a corresponding spike this month accounting for the sales delay. The Corsair decision of cutting 1/4 of the lineup without a more smooth transition plan is absolutely on them.

Of course they cannot sell what they can't, but if you loose 25%+ of your monthly sale and you plan to "replace" it with another, You'd think they'd make sure that other product was okay, right? Importing a product takes time, but I don't think that leaving your lineup with only 3 models and wait makes sense, specially if you consider that the decision to stop making the Corsair in the US is not new I understand the need to get down the franchises but it is ironic, why would a dealer invest in a standalone dealer for a brand that cut products and is not showing something new and aside some refreshes, have nothing in store for at least 2-3 years. -
dont get me wrong...I kinda dig the Slate, and I think initially it will do well ( its different and not mainstream ) until people realize some of the shortcomings, 4 doors alone is HUGE just from a convenience standpoint, then there's servicing, parts availability, durability and reliability ( after all its a startup ) and other potential issues...

Yup, that's what I've been saying all along too - the feature set that's optional gets into territory overlapping base model Maverick (and soon to be CE1 truck), and the Slate is even still missing options there like power windows.
-
thats my point, with Slate thats the ONLY option ( 2dr 4 passenger option starts just under 30k ) which gives the ______ a distinct advantage for a similar , of not cheaper price...with more std equipment...nice try Bezos.

Looks like Lightstream was applied for way back in 2023, so I'm going to drop it out. I'm between Fathom and Mythic, both of which have description of electric in them...
-
Well, don't think you can get the truck option with that configuration.
-
Mums the word for the next few....personally I like it....but the little product snippets we were told gives me high hopes, even given its Electric, may just be a perfect sweet spot...at an "affordable " price tag
-
Ok......so......I dropped single or multiple syllable names.....and dropped 2 more on my own with speculation, so I've narrowed it to those 3. -Mythic (pending name for vehicles) -Lightstream -Fathom Evos (I don't see it being Evos since that's been on a different model globally but wouldn't stop Ford from using it on multiple unrelated models globally) Cyclone (labeled models/toy vehicles) Torino Hive Fuze Ace Futura (I think there was a dispute here with Firestone?) Aeromax
-
I'll go with Cyclone, being that it was a Mercury model back in the past.
