Just to be clear here, the main drive is not customer satisfaction, it’s all the continuing losses due to warranty work.   Nothing teaches like the pain of loss.

Sure, systematic approach, quit screwing suppliers, quit screwing dealer techs on warranty, retain experienced engineers.  Common sense is none to common.   Kind of surprised Farley is still around. 

It would make a cool private build that’s for sure. Wouldn’t be any loss getting rid of the backseat that’s already kind of useless for anyone younger than 8 and older than 12 and has functional legs.

Lincoln had some concepts in the early 2000s that I loved that sadly never came to fruition - Continental, MK9, Mark X, Navicross, etc.     I don't recall anyone saying Maverick would never sell.....   This on the other hand......would never sell.....lol   2 doors/2 seats with a tiny bed would be a non-starter for the vast majority of buyers.  Is it cool?  Sure!  I sent it to my brother and he's like "we should build one".  But it'd be a tiny market, and not worth the development dollars, IMO.

It said they cut production because the lack of demand/sales. As for marketing that is whole other ball of wax. Also i'd say car mags don't really matter as much as they think they do-there are plenty of examples of products they like that don't resonate with the car buying public.    I'm also going to assume this isn't a good sign for EVs-it was "cheap" but yet didn't generate any demand for itself, even though it was "cheap"
