I think their problem is they don't really have a long-term vision for the brand - it's an every 5-6 years they get a sprinkle of attention for some redesigned models (usually tepid refreshes) with "full" attention being even longer. I'd advocate selling them (ICE/hybrid and EV) alongside each other and let customers decide.

Alfa’s clearly trying to keep things sporty while letting buyers pick how much electricity (or gas) they want under the hood.

Eh, I wouldn't really lump Maverick or Fathom in with the rest of that midsize group, but that's me.

I will say that while both Tesla and Ford interiors are cheap, they aren’t uncomfortable at all which I think does a lot in terms of consumers tolerating it.
