Government contracts?  There's been talk of several prototypes for the govt, and I don't think GM produces the 3/4 ton suburban anymore, so this could be a way to take that market.

Sounds like clickbait to generate web traffic and sure, it may be some future ideas but there’s way more to the Bronco packaging than that, it’s all about knowing what buyers want.

This isn't quite on point, but I was just watching an episode of "Columbo" and a candidate running for office said to a colleague that the United States is being sold off one day at a time, or words to that effect. I wonder if Ford will get rid of the suicide doors and use the rather small rear doors like GM does. Either way is terrible for second row occupants, if you have any.

Well this Aussie is so glad we’re back to getting oil and refined products from North America, without it we would be screwed as we have only about 30 days storage capacity. So thanks to our North American friends, Canada & USA.   The oil companies love that Australia is on a tight inventory but what they didn’t count on is the massive swing to BEV and PHEV - - over 25% of total sales last month.     Australia is speeding up of rollout of battery storage, solar and wind farms. For the first time, electricity prices in evening peak has fallen as gas turbines get replaced.

Looking forward to this one being released in Australia next year, it really suits the new CO2 emission rules that came into play recently. Ford has to start transitioning people away from diesel T6 before 2029 otherwise the fines are going to cripple it.
