Lately, some Chinese automakers like Chery for example don't even care about entering the USA anymore. I think it was Sandy Munro who said the US/western automakers have become complacent.

Woohoo! A badge of honor! If you guys think I’m bad now, then just wait until JP ( @jpd80 ) builds me a Ranger hybrid with PPO. It’s going to be miserable for all of you.

Congrats! You're the charter member of the Ranger mafia!

Sounds like it fit your use case perfectly. 77 is still young and I hope you have many years of happy motoring ahead of you.

I wasn't sure if it was a placeholder silhouette or actually the Fathom blacked out with a few highlights on there.

Guess that makes some sense. I was thinking it was for vehicle around CE1 sized.

Agreed. We've used Tesla chargers twice with our Mach E, and their cords are so short you either take up two spots or you have to get the front so close that you're almost touching the charger. Having it at the rear will be much better. -
Dang! That’s why it looked so attractive!

This aligns the charging port with Tesla and other newer EVs. Makes it easier to charge by backing in since so many fast charger cables are short. I used to have a Lightning and that was my biggest gripe with charging on the road. If charging stations were busy, you’d have to wait so you could take up two spots because the port was on the opposite fender and almost to the door.
