Ford's head honcho said many times that he's really concerned about them Chinese automakers. Should he pay more attention to the rise of Hyundai/Kia in the U.S. EV market?

Yep   Hyundai is selling more vehicles in the US than ever as new American-made EVs arrive        

My first car, waaaay back in 1981 was a 1970 Ford LTD formal roof 2 door sedan in dark green...fun for 3 months until the frame broke while I was trying to do a holeshot....lol. Lots of Northeast rust through the frame....replaced it with a 1969 LTD XL sports roof that was wrecked in the front end....took the entire front clip off my '70 and put the motor and trans in it using Dad's 1975 F250 Hi-Boy plow lift to pick the motor/trans up and drove it into place....19 year old ingenuity at it's finest....

Oh, I hadn't seen the order guide.   That tells me it's probably the same size hole in the roof, it just doesn't open.  Probably reusing the same shade mechanism.

Yea, the Two Mode Hybrid system was and remains a good concept. The latest version from Allison, eGen Flex and eGen Flex Max, builds upon the original design with a new drive unit, inverter, battery chemistry, and software. IndyGo says it works reliably and at reasonable cost.  

On the current version.  We don't know about this new fixed roof setup.  Mach E doesn't have one.
