Tesla ‘Cannot Guarantee’ Roadster Reservation Holders Will Ever Get a Car

Mazda finally corrected this bizarre move.....   Mazda Kills Off The CX-70 And Will Sell Two- And Three-Row CX-90s Instead   For the 2027 model year, things will get slightly simpler with Mazda confirming it's axing the CX-70 and replacing it with a new two-row version of the CX-90, selling it alongside the three-row CX-90 we're familiar with.           ---   Seemed like a waste of resources to have to separately market another "model" that was just a model with 2 rows, and otherwise identical to the 3 row version.

The only unique part is the 2.0EB in place of the NA 2.0/2.5 atkinson engines.  Pretty sure it works the same with the same Ford software as other US hybrids.

That is actually Wimbleton White, but same argument. Oxford White came about later and is a more "milky" shade of white than Wimbleton.

I was curious where the 2.0 Ecoboost and the HF55 for the Nautilus are built. Interestingly, the Ecoboost is built in china but the HF55 is built in Michigan and shipped to China.   I could be wrong, but I think that hybrid implementation is unique to the Nautilus. Do you know where the software for that unique hybrid combination is developed?

I'm not thrilled that our Nautilus was built in China but it is a Ford designed vehicle built by Ford in China, as opposed to it being designed and built by a stand alone Chinese company.  Quality of the china built Nautilus seems to be very high.  Most of the problems are software.

The big shots at Ford made this announcement in August 2026:   Ford Motor Company announced today it will grow Lincoln production in the U.S. beginning in 2030. As part of this plan, Lincoln will phase out the importation of vehicles from China for the U.S. market, which will further strengthen Ford’s position as America's No. 1 auto producer.   “Lincoln is a quintessentially American brand, and Ford is America’s automaker. This wasn’t necessarily the easiest path. In fact, it’s a path most of our competitors aren’t choosing to take. But Ford builds in America because we believe in America, and we’re betting on that belief again," said Ford CEO and President Jim Farley.

Yeah, I don't think I see them replacing the 3.5 here.......I think it's an "appeal to everyone" approach of having the option for the 3.5EVB V6, this new 5.4V8 and the 6.2 at the top, especially with CAFE going away for at least a few years (they can drop it again when CAFE inevitably gets reimplemented in our back-and-forth gov't policies of late).
