It's common for testing models to have the deployable running boards out.
I was note referencing how the drivers side board doesn't sit along the frame fully, it's cut off about half way through the rear door.
But it looks exactly like that photo from the aviator interior screenshot. I'm really excited for this vehicle, as long as ford didn't short change the feature content and nvh.
My LS and my current MKZ 3.0 have been the best sedans I've owned. I hope they do consider a new Zephyr, I have no idea what I will replace my Z with when the time comes. Thankfully that won't be for a long time.
Production wise, I feel like Mondeo (fusion) and Zephyr make the most sense, as the work is already done, minus "North Americanizing" them. But I'm sure they project higher prices/margins on a Mustang sedan.
It'd have been interesting to have seen all the CD6 stuff they were working on.
Interesting. it'd be nice to add new blood hah but I love our crew here!
Yeah, I remember that - it was just a back and forth of garbage there, so I stopped visiting.
Probably because S650 is pretty much its own thing. Had it been an actual extension of CD6 like we all thought it would be it would probably be a lot easier.
Speaking of CD6, I wonder how far along the rumored CD6 Fusion got. Not that I expect it to be revived, I’m just curious.
They had the opportunity back in 2003 with dew98 and again with CD6 but things got in the way. Having excess capacity at FlatRock and wanting to make Mustang a sub brand plus the opportunity to do hybrids might make it happen this time. I emphasize might. Could also make a case for Mondeo and Zephyr at FR.
Yea things got really toxic there towards the end. Wings was going after everyone even @joseodiaga4 and pissed off 2b2 permanently to the point where 2b2 doesn't post on forums at all anymore. I am friends with him on Facebook but all he does these days is post nonstop political stuff and how angry he is.
All the new F-150 logos are black (with white letters instead of chrome)....or if they're not black, they're like Antimatter Blue where they look black 99.9% of the time, rather than the clearly blue blue oval they've used to this point.
