  1. Dyson should know, his fortune was created on Ideas that really sucked

  2. I think they’re trying premium pricing. Guess we’ll see if it works.

  3. The simple answer is to look at the Limited's standard equipment in addition to the XLT's 202A content. I've attached the appropriate page from the 2020 Explorer Order Guide. The major additional content is the addition of the 20" Premium Painted Aluminum Wheels, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ (Adaptive Cruise Control, Voice-Activated Navigation). 2020 Explorer 4-Door Order Guide_Limited vs. XLT.pdf

  4. While ordering our 2020 Nautilus yesterday, I couldn't help myself to sit in the Aviator once again and take it all in. The Black Label one right outside the salesguy door had the Chalet theme. I don't even like white interiors nor white really anywhere inside a car and yet it was so awesome and so impressive that I couldn't help wish I could get ANY of the Aviator themes (even white!) and look in the Nautilus. It's just so nice and so refreshingly different. While we love the Thoroughbred theme we're getting in the Nautilus, I really applaud the interior design efforts of the Aviator it's awesome. I consider myself lucky that they DIDN'T have one in the Destination theme or else our heads would have exploded ? and knowing my wife she would have wanted to go into more debt and get the bigger Aviator even though she doesn't want a car that big!

  5. My comparison was 200A 2wd XLT's, not fleet base. So $2,275 for Sync3, which would have required the 201A package ($2,780) on the 2019. HRG

  6. and no one, anywhere, in my lifetime...will convince me to embrace autonomous driving....that's got disaster and lawsuits written all over it...same with "hail your car"....which is working out just jim dandy...

  7. I don’t think it’s a terrible plan. As long as you change the looks, interior, and enhance the drivetrain periodically, it would probably work out. How much does the frame and greenhouse really have to change if you are starting from a decent position.

  8. Thats insane. I think Lincoln needs more dealers. Maybe with the stronger lineup now, we'll see them expand the dealership network.

  9. Someone over on GMI joked that they found where the leftover '19 Camaro grilles went.

  10. Guess GM's new modus operandi is to make their trucks as ugly as possible now? The worst part of that design is slapping the bow tie on the grill to the right-WTF are they thinking? The grill texture is funky too-but its not ugly-just different.

  11. I’ve heard everything from the Continental and MKZ being discontinued after 2020 to one or both of them showing up on the CD6 platform, presumably in 2021. Any insight on their future? Interesting to me they are doing another Coach Edition run on the Continental. Last hurrah or something to keep people interested in that car for a bit while they get the next one queued up?

  12. My dealer didn't get its first load of Aviators in until August 16th because of all the delays and "sent off site" stuff. Needless to say I ran right over to check them out after being told they finally got some in to see in person. I spent quite a while checking them out and the panel gaps were impressively tight and the door, hood and hatch alignments were perfect on all of them.

  13. Figured I'd throw in some (bad) real world photos I took of the first few Aviators the local dealer has received: It looks great in person.

  14. Motor Trend: They never say that about any other luxury makes and with Aviator it’s a ridiculous statement.

  15. So for the Motor1 review, they should have praised the Aviator saying "and the speaker grilles are nice plastic just like the Audi Q7, no cheap laser etched metal in this suv!"

  16. I find that rather funny. My $5,000 B&O speaker-system I have on my Audi Q7 has those fancy pop-up speakers in the dash and the top is plastic as well. The lower speaker-covers located in the doors are plastic-too. Haven't read a single complaint about that so far...

  17. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://q4live.s22.clientfiles.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/983951170/files/pdf/Revel-and-Revel-Ultima-3D-in-Aviator_Fact-Sheet.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiZ27CA7pLkAhVCnFkKHY14A7YQFjALegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw3uJrdGicPbJu57kI4RWW60 The Motor1 review bashes the speaker grilles, saying "unlike MB and BMW the speaker grilles are cheap plastic". But the speaker grilles for the Revel Ultima 3D system are actually "laser etched aluminum" and the grilles for the standard Revel system are "expanded metal". How do you mistake laser etched aluminum and expanded metal for cheap plastic unless your really looking for something to bash??

  19. Those reviewers just can't help themselves comparing it to the Explorer. Ford could literally change everything on the vehicle except the floor pan and they'd still complain.
