TFL did a video on charge stations. And then after watching this video, it just seems like a giant pain to charge up anywhere outside of your own garage. It’s seems like every charge is supposed to paired with a cup of coffee and a meal at a restaurant?

Totally agree! It’s terrible. You’d think it would be the ultimate place to find Ford parts. Good luck using keywords to search. Almost never comes back with what you’re looking for. Or there’s 5 pages of almost related results to sift through. Ultimately still not finding what I need. I would use it WAY more than I do, if it wasn’t such crap. I use rock auto because it always has what I need. And I find it easily. Plus they usually the have the Motorcraft brand part too.

I know internally the 2.3 I4 used in the Ranger and Explorer has been know as the Maverick program. To differentiate it from previous gen 2.3’s. Maybe they don’t want too many things with the same name around? But I have no idea.

The composite oil pan on the 3.5EB was discontinued earlier this year. It was a 2 piece design that sometimes proved to be “troublesome”.
