  2. All I know it that for every gallon of gas I buy, the state gets about 25 cents to repair roads and bridges. Where will states get that money when gas is no longer sold?
  3. Better payload...easier and cheaper to add gobs of aftermarket power.
  4. I like that idea. I think if Lincoln uses the platform it will be more in line with a BMW X6.
  5. Maybe a Mercury compact wagon Keep it under 25K and I'd get two.
  6. The infotainment screen seems to be set too far out of reach. Exterior just doesn't say luxury or sport to me. Interior seems odd, but I do like the sterring wheel.
  7. Well, we still have the Mustang and GT (for a while), so not zero. I do think Ford is right to cut sedans now as they were all on old platforms. When BEV platforms become more commonplace, I think we will see sedans again.
  8. Escape is not much cheaper. Sport starts at $26.6K comes standard with 4X4 and terrain management. The cheapest Escape with AWD starts at $26K
  9. Looks old already. Ford needs a complete new front end look without that tired grille shape.
  10. Just watch...a few years after this , CA will be banning performance electric vehicles because they use too much electricity. CA already has issues with power supply, and if you depend on one type of energy, regardless of how many sources it comes from, you will have a chance for catastrophic failures.
  11. The deer around here do it all the time! And where there is one, there are a few more just trying to decide if they want to cross, jump out right in front of you, or wait.
  12. Not even close to what I was hoping for. Car interior and a bland front and profile. Nothing says Grand about it.
  13. Center console to glovebox shows a big difference. Almost no gap in Nautilus, and a wide gap in Aviator.
  14. I think there is a regulation in Europe that you can't have wheels out past the body work. I believe that is why Ford can't sell Bronco in Europe.
  15. Wow, What a great looking Aviator!
  16. I see them bringing in plug-in hybrids with extended ranges. This would help in America too, if they are importing from here. There is a good chance they will be getting some models from china.
  17. I think a staggered launch is a great decision. I would believe people wanting Platinum and Limited models will be waiting for the 2021s. Stocking XL and XLT for commercial use and consumers looking for a bargain should be their goal, even if it is less profitable. The profits will really kick in when both plants have been cranking out the high-end 2021s.
  18. I think it fits the market perfectly. It seems to be very good at what it does. My only beef is the styling, but it is really no worse than the competition overall. It is just not what I hoped for. I would easily pick the Explorer over the Korean and Japanese brands.
  19. I thought Cadillac was making a big deal out of following the Germans with their new branding scheme. CT# and XT#. Ae they already abandoning that and back to following Lincoln with names?
  20. I think they could make more money selling Bronco T-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, and keychains
  21. It is the media on both sides which provokes this, sensationalizes it, and profits from the discourse.
