  1. I'm not seeing what makes this a $300k vehicle.

  3. I wouldn’t say it hurts anything. It just causes unnecessary confusion and makes an iconic nameplate less sacred. The Jeep Renegade is also rugged in appearance, yet doesn’t wear the Wrangler name.
  4. Sure, but it’s still not THE Bronco. I think it can easily stand on its own without the Bronco association. The Maverick does very well without being tied to a well-known nameplate. If the product execution is superb, people will come.
  5. It didn’t help being the first to launch. I actually heard people around town saying they saw the new Bronco and how disappointed they were by it.
  6. The Bronco Sport is the true successor to the original Escape. I see them everywhere now - mostly driven by young women. I always thought ditching the Escape’s original formula in favor of a blah tall hatch look was a mistake.
  7. This concept is also incredibly uninspired. It could be anything.
  8. It’s derivative. Very Audi-like. The rear reminds me of a Volvo.
  9. Looks much better than those digital renderings of it.
  10. Elon Musk is more like Howard Hughes than Henry Ford, IMO.
  11. I see some 60s Continental cues. Reminds me of that sketch in the brand centennial video.
  12. Is there a good business case for T6 replacing CD6 SUVs?
  13. The old man that lives behind me owns a blue Diamond Jubilee Mark V he bought when new. That thing just oozes authority and 1970s glamour. Gotta love it.
  14. I would love to know the back story behind this sketch. Notice the Greyhound hood ornament.
  15. Disgusting. I hope I'm dead before that heinous act occurs.
  16. I saw a couple of G-Wagons yesterday and couldn't help but wonder if a luxury Bronco would sell.
  17. If the c & d pillars leaned forward (like the '07 Tahoe), it would look a lot better.
  18. It looks like a mainstream sedan - would look right at home on a Hyundai/Kia lot.
  19. I prefer knobs and buttons over touchscreens. I wish the Timberline was around when I ordered my 2020 - very nice!
  20. I can picture reproduction '60s Continentals becoming a reality one day. They certainly wouldn't be attainable for most, though. For reference, Tom Scarpello's Revology Mustangs begin at $198,325. It's a shame they didn't continue that styling theme. Lincoln has been all over the map in the styling dept. ever since.
  21. The Thunderbird was never a sports car. The first generation appears that way to some people, but it was more of a two-seat boulevard cruiser.
