A specific EV Section is not necessary when all we are getting in the future is EVs anyway.

Would it make sense to update the ICE Aviator as well? Likely the last update before it's ultimate demise. Lincoln should be all electric by the end of the decade. We (the country) can make this transition to EVs rather quickly if we want.

That's quite a ways away... What's Lincoln getting between now and then?

I suspect that the Mach E is tuned to have a looser rear end, to be able to thrown around a corner a bit more... He says the computers aren't aggressive enough, which is the thing that people in these cars who are out to have fun complain about, a too aggressive traction or stability control system... Just my opinion. Interesting test though.

Yeah really effective update, especially the front end. I love what they did with the light integration. It feels very fresh and new.

I wish the rear end did not remind me so much of other suvs... Its the taillamps... Definitely improvement in the front! Love the big black label grille, and hood lines. I wanted some type of hybrid powertrain, and more updates the interior. Just a two spoke steering wheel like the Nav concept would have went a long way. This segment is hot and competitive... Is Ford/Lincoln saving resources to invest more in all the electrification coming their way? Or is this enough for Lincoln?...

Edit*... My two cents wasnt needed. Seems like everyone's in agreeance that it's Ford's responsibility and that maybe "Fault" doesn't give way to many solutions...

I think the ensemble is a really interesting concept! It's bold. It could be reworked and refined but these are students. They did a good job.

I want both companies, and GM to be extremely successful in their markets! I want the competition between our American auto companies to push each other to constantly innovate and grow, not push it other out of business.

Well no one should limit a product just to give themselves room to improve. But yes, plenty of room to improve. I don't think anyone is thinking this is all the Lightning will EVER be, but I personally expected a wider range of offering at announcement. And I don't think anyone is losing their mind because of what isn't being offered yet. We're just having conversation about a product we're interested in... Good bad or indifferent.

I'm surprised at the pricing considering Ford knows pickups can pull a high premium. Great entry price but i wonder if they had an option to offer a bigger battery pack at a higher cost, or if that isn't feasible to get it to market soon. Looking forward to hearing more tonight.

I sure hope so! I hope the Lightning Fseries is a high performance model and not just the name of the Elec Fseries line UNLESS the entire line is worthy of the name, i.e. Mach E.
