Wow that is some wild stuff, small world indeed. That car was in two trailer races the first one was where the trailer fell off, the second time we made sure the trailer didnt fall off, but thats when the engine locked up.

One of my favorite races was when some guy had a small boat on a trailer filled with water, well when it got hit it looked like it exploded, very cool stuff.

I never got to drive the car in any races unfortunately it was my buddy doin the driving the car was a representitive for the company he works at, he also drove a school bus in the figure '8' races, now that was fun!! I worked on that car alot, but I had to add it to my list cus it looked so cool :shades: .

my first car and first Ford was a 1970 LTD two door sedan.....dark green with a black vinyl top. What a boat....and an awesome car....that is until the frame (rotted) broke....pulled the 351 windsor, tranny and front clip and stuck it in a 1969 LTD XL fast back that was smashed in the front and the guy took the 390 and C6 out of it...swapped that for a primer grey 1972 Torino two door......but my love affair with Ford was sealed.....tried other brands...always go back to a Ford....currently a 2006 Fusion SE with a V6.....man....that car is great....and ironic that it is my first NEW car.....44 years old and always bought used....until the Fusion!

'86 Mustang GT with T-tops, jalapino red :) Wow, that was 20 years ago! Cripes I'm getting old. I'll see if I can dig up a photo and scan it. 7 other Mustangs through the '07 I just traded, a horde of econolines and a couple old F150's for my business, 88 Escort GT, 2 Escort wagons for doing outside sales(friggin indestructable little cars), 03 SVTF Euro, and an 07 Edge. Bunch of non-Ford's too but who cares about them...

My first vehicle was a 2006 Ford GT in Ford Racing Blue and loved to do burn outs with it. Routinely did 0-60 times of 3.3 to 3.5 and 0-100 in under 7 seconds. Got tired of that and got used to doing 205 mph going up North on I-75 with my radar detector on full alert. It was fun seeing the looks of car drivers as you blurred by them at 200+. Dang, it was hard to slow down in time for those Rest Area thingies. Anyway, to make a long story short, I wrapped it around a tree up north after rounding sharp curve and walked away. Vehicle sits up North in a salvage yard. Sorry, I don't have any pics. Wow, that was quite a dream. I always say that if you want to dream, dream big. :happy feet:

I was able to get to some of my old pics this week and here they are.

My first ride was a new 1986 Mustang GT 5.0 T-top, I lowered it and added Enki wheels.

I bought a Saleen Mustang new in 1991, still have it today.

This is a 1988 Bronco II I bought in 1993 at which time I painted it Ford's truck blue and added a 4" suspension lift.

Eventually, I ended up swapping a 5.0 liter into it.

my first vehicle and a Ford at that was was an 03 Expedition Eddie-Bauer with the 5.4L Triton

for a half a year i had an 03' Focus ZX5, all though i was not found of being in such a small car, it had a surprisingly good sound system stock

i also had an 01' F-150 Regular cab with the 4.2L V6.......had 265,000 miles on it and never quit, don't know why people hated that V6 so much, it wasn't slow either

now i have the truck in my sig, im too lazy to upload a pic so ill tell you that it is white, so was the other F-150, my Focus was red, and the Expedition was blue with a goldish/tan trim

i plan to stay ford with the new F-150

The first and ONLY Ford that I purchased,[all others have been inheritances or donations.] was my very first ride. A 1962 Fairlane, complete with raging 170 CID Six, and that mechanical marvel the Ford Two- Speed automatic . I obtained this vintage conveyance in 1973, and the experience that I had with it shaped my car buying decisions for the rest of my life. :(

No more Fords..................[unless I can afford a '42 GPW. THAT I would buy.] <VBG>
