PREMiERdrum
From Facebook... LincolnThe next step for Lincoln...forward-looking and more elegantly crafted. Now it gets interesting. fordmantpw
Looks to be the trunk lid. I thought hood at first, but after closer inspection, I'm thinking that's the rear of the car...looks good so far...not that we can tell much yet. I think it is the hood because if you look you can see windshield wipers and also the grill/headlights.

FordBuyer
So is the new MKS going to be shown next week in L.A., or just the MKT? I'd be more interested in seeing the MCE on the MKS rather than the MKT.

FordBuyer
Both MKS and MKT will be shown at LA. Great. Thanks. I hope to check out new MKS at Detroit Auto Show to get at least an idea of where Lincoln is going. I know it's just a MCE, but the front and back end should preview a couple design cues I would hope. Ford certainly has had some time to work on this MCE, especially the interior. keoni
What's the deal with the center ridge not lining up with the front cinch? Bad Photoshop or is my iPad playing tricks on me?
Stentgraft95
Both MKS and MKT will be shown at LA. I'm totally stoked about the "new" Lincolns. Dissappointed that I won't be getting the Focus based Lincoln but still intrigued. My fear being that MKZ is going to be the only one I can financially reach for to replace my 03 LS and that will be a stretch. Still, I won't stray from Ford and very well may find myself searching in an entirely new direction to replace my daily driver: Think Focus ST... TomServo92
What's the deal with the center ridge not lining up with the front cinch? Bad Photoshop or is my iPad playing tricks on me? It's the way it's lit that makes it look that way.
PREMiERdrum
I fail to see what's evocative about that image. Eh, it's the hood of the MKS or MKT, showing off some of the new (beautiful, I might add) sculpting. They aren't going to start teasing the Z until the S and T are shown next week. :reading:

BORG
I can't help but laugh at the fact that we are looking at a tease of a crease in the middle of the hood on a Lincoln MKS, which is completely ubiquitous and meaningless. fordmantpw
I think it is the hood because if you look you can see windshield wipers and also the grill/headlights. Yeah, you're right, I see it now. It just looked too rounded to be the hood, and I couldn't see the wipers earlier.

I don't think it is the MKS. The hood isn't long enough, IMHO, for a V-6, plus all the space required for collision.

You do realize the MKS V-6 is mounted transversely..............

BORG
Most definitely? So in addition to having X-ray vision you're clairvoyant? No, Google image search and deductive logic are the only powers I needed to identify this as the MKS.
LincolnV
Queue up the b*tching and complaining that these vehicles represent the new "Max Wolfe" direction of Lincoln...... IIRC, the changes on these two were already in the pipeline before he was hired.
