rmc523
I didn't see this posted here, but here's our first look at the production Conti. I know it's not the best image, nor am I sure where it was originally grabbed from (I borrowed it from a post over at FIN and GMI), but it looks like one of those model pictures you see when you roll over the "vehicles" category on the Lincoln website. It's obviously a base model, but even in base form, and a grainy image, it looks great! I'm excited to see the full reveal
Moosetang
Looks pretty good. Wish the light were a bit wider and the grill slighly more narrow, though.
bzcat
This looks like a base model for sure. Black Label ones should have more bling.
Anthony
Ford will never learn when it comes to marketing images. If there is any chrome on this thing, never use a silver or white car in images!
PREMiERdrum
Ford will never learn when it comes to marketing images. If there is any chrome on this thing, never use a silver or white car in images! Looks to me like it was specifically made as a menu imagex which often times sore the entire range in the same colorway against a web-friendly infinite white background. Yes, that's what I said above. It's the image that will go in this section:

Anthony
So someone scrapped the photo from the server... explains why it is so blurry because it is a tiny photo I just tried checking out the sprite file they use in there with different parameters (car-lincolncontinental2017, etc...). No luck
ANTAUS
http://www.autoblog.com/2016/01/07/2017-lincoln-continental-leaked-image-detroit/ I agree with Intrepid, not sure who Ford uses for marketing images. Personally I think this is horrible if this is the end product, Generic, no bling, lights loo medicore. Even for a base model, this looks like the cheaper hooker from the motel no one wants to bring home to mother...
fuzzymoomoo
You know, upon the revelation in the Oakville assembly plant thread that the MKX is going right-hand drive, I wonder if the Continental will too...
RichardJensen
You know, upon the revelation in the Oakville assembly plant thread that the MKX is going right-hand drive, I wonder if the Continental will too... The OAC thread on this forum? Because that just said "right hand drive" and "diesel" which I took to refer to the Edge going overseas. ibinubu12
You know, upon the revelation in the Oakville assembly plant thread that the MKX is going right-hand drive, I wonder if the Continental will too... MKX isn't going RHD... the OAC post referred to "CDX" which is CD539X, RHD Edge export.
fuzzymoomoo
Thank you for clarifying. I saw CDX and interpreted that as MKX for some reason. Is MKX being exported at all? Edited January 8, 2016 by fuzzymoomoo
ibinubu12
Thank you for clarifying. I saw CDX and interpreted that as MKX for some reason. Is MKX being exported at all? MKX is available in China, South Korea, and other select markets. Edge is exported from Oakville to over 100 markets.
Sizzler
Lot of Kia in that design. The vent-with-spear detail on the front fenders brings to mind the Optima; ^<YAWN>^

No they don't, they're integrated into the door trim at the base of the window.
Anthony
No they don't, they're integrated into the door trim at the base of the window. Gotcha. I should have expected some half-truths from a non-legit source. They still look pretty cool and unique.
silvrsvt
Doesn't look like a rip off of a Bentley as much as the concept did.

rmc523
Thanks sullynd...here the image from that article: Also noted in the article, the popup door handles remain in the production model. I think it looks fantastic. Gotcha. I should have expected some half-truths from a non-legit source. They still look pretty cool and unique. Yeah, My guess is since they're electronically operated, that the handle itself will be stationary, while pushing the button inside the handle and pulling (the stationary handle) is what will open it.
