SoonerLS
I paid $3.12 for 87 E10 on Monday, but the prices locally are some of the highest in the state. (The one that gets me is Ponca City, which has similarly high prices despite having the largest refinery in the state.) I drove out to Stilwell (down by the Arkansas line) on Sunday to watch my nephew play soccer, and I saw a Phillips 66 that was only near an intersection of two two-lane state highways that was at $2.99 for 87 E10. The place that alternates between the lowest prices in the metro and “Snoop Dog on Willie Nelson’s tour bus” was at $3.04 (with discounts) on Saturday, but I didn’t have time to stop then… Edited April 24 by SoonerLS Typo

Andrew L
I filled up the Aviator yesterday for 3.85 using 89 and used the upside app and got 14 cents back per gallon. I started putting 89 in the Aviator even though it says 91+ on the cap it runs fine with 89. I may put in a tank of 93 every once and a while to even it out. I can't seem to find any gas stations around me that have 91.

I used to live in RI and had a Lincoln LS back then too which also required 91+ and never found a place with 91 there either. Only places I see it are weird gas stations off the highway in bumpkinville that have like 30 pumps lol never anywhere near where I live. 7Mary3
You ain't seen nothin yet: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2024/apr/29/taxing-big-fossil-fuel-firms-raise-billions-climate-finance Make to mistake, those taxes will be passed straight to the consumer. EV's will start to make a lot of sense.

I used to think it was elevation-related, but our premium is 91, and Tulsa's altitude is only 722ft (Norman, where I lived while I had my LS, is a bit higher at just over 1,100ft). Someone told me the actual reason, but I'll be danged if I can remember what it was. Edited April 30 by SoonerLS

silvrsvt
higher octane is also very dependent on where you buy it. When I was living in MD and had my SHO with a tune on it, the local Royal Farms that just opened up said they had 93 octane gas, but my car didn't really run that great on it. I used nothing but Sunoco when I had the car (and their gas card to save some .5 cents a gallon) and put their 93 Ultimate in it, otherwise I had issues.
