Even though most of the engine isn't actually coyote based, I wonder how much of this will translate to something like a future mustang V8 hybrid. Regardless, it's gonna be really neat to see Ford returning to the top class of endurance racing. -

My guess is for the redesign, especially if they're only planning on introducing relatively mild updates until then. -
Sure, there's just been a debate as to when it'll happen - whether it'd be during a minor refresh, or wait for the full redesign.

Ford does sell Super Duty in Canada and by building them there, they get around the reciprocal tariffs. They could also sell them in Mexico due to the USMCA trade agreement. -
Yes. Farley has said exportable power (Pro Power Onboard) is coming for the Bronco. A hybrid is a prerequisite for that.

The battery is 56 Kwhr LFP so about 30-33 minutes charge time, so part charging during the day is probably more than acceptable for depot based city deliveries - this is not load and go 250 miles situation but in pinch could do that..

I was thinking to myself why does ford need another 100000 super duty out there?? Unless what you’re saying has some validity to it. They say Ohio Avon lake and Kentucky truck are maxed out so they must know what they’re doing. I do know this though, if super duty number ever plummet Oakville is going down first lol.

You know, Ford has hinted at an "obvious" change for Bronco. Do we think it could actually get the hybrid? I can't find photos of the current models without the skid plates Not sure what these blocks are covering Also reiterates my idea of a retractable step (with the blocks hiding the arms), but the blocks stick down low for an offroading model (obviously not the whole block will be the component, though).

Haha, well the factory is in Canada after all! I didn't phrase my statement well. Yes, I realize 200k+ is more typical output for a plant. I was meaning an additional 80-100k Super Duty production sounds like a lot to put out there, unless demand for them is so high right now and simply not being satisfied by current output. Or they do plan on reducing SD production at KTP, and reallocating it to Expy/Navi production, balancing out that 80-100k number to a degree?
