I think there’s a market there, but it’s probably not big enough to justify the investment. If it had been, we’d probably still have the last iteration of the Conti in the stable, so I don’t see them going back to it.
Nice, glad you got it . Mine is on rail , heading to Miami. then it will be trucked north to dealer. It was in Lakeland area yesterday. So I think next week is a sure bet.
GM announced that it achieved positive variable profitability for its EV lineup in 2024 as sales of those vehicles increased and new, more affordable models were introduced:
General Motors launched an EV offensive in 2024. New models, including the popular Chevy Equinox EV and Chevy Blazer EV, finally went on sale, while production ramped up for other EVs that were introduced in 2023. These successes were part of a strong year for GM, which yesterday reported that its full-year revenue improved by 9 percent. But arguably bigger news was that GM said in its letter to shareholders that its EV lineup became "variable profit positive" in the fourth quarter of last year.
The battery light isn’t really a battery light, it is a charging system light typically indicating your alternator is getting ready to die. It wouldn’t throw any DTC’s.
The Red Battery Light in the dash is coming on, but goes off while normal driving conditions. No rhyme or reason as to when it comes on and goes off. I suspect that the alternator may be going bad. Checked voltage on both batteries independently, and while truck is running. All voltage readings found to be as needed. Have not checked these while the Red Battery Light is illuminated. I scanned but did not get any codes indicating a system electrical, voltage, or charging DTC. Once the Red Battery Light comes on, wouldn't it show up in a scan until it is cleared?

They already have Everest in ROW that's Ranger based.
No need to "redo" Explorer that way when they already have it done.
I wouldn't advocate doing that - keep them separate products if anything.
