Tariffs would be a good thing IF global leaders were reasonable and intelligent people. If leaders across the board were like "Yeah, this isn't sustainable, and we see now our tariffs on American goods aren't necessarily fair. So we'll work with the states so each side reduces tariffs on the others goods by a proportional amount". It seems like some leaders are sensible, and doing that, and I'm all for it.
But humans are nothing if not stubborn, and nations like China hitting us with 34% tariffs, doubling down on the bullshit, has destroyed our economy, at least short term. I pray to all the Gods old and new that Trump and China will find a way to negotiate these tariffs down massively. This isn't sustainable long term.
I'm in this NVIDIA company for like $115 a share, thought it was a good buy because it was in the $140-150 range not long ago, and I've been getting slammed pretty hard. Hopefully stocks like that make a full recovery before the end of the year.
Seems pretty no brainer to me to take the raptor body, slam it on the ground, make it awd and offer the R engine if they really want to get back into the street truck market. But like you said, this looks a lot like an appearance package.
Hello all. We are in the market for a new 5th wheel camper and truck for a family of 5. I am looking at a few that are 42-43’ and around 12-14k lb. I do not want a DRW truck as when not pulling a camper I will still be driving it daily. I originally wanted the 7.3 but I keep having people tell me if I’m pulling something that big, I should get the 6.7. I don’t know much about weight laws when pulling but I’m trying to make whatever setup I get legal. I know that payloads and GCWR can vary depending on trim levels so I’m trying to find a SRW with the most payload to help with that.
I’m looking for options or opinions for which truck to go with.
The Tremors look nice, but it also looks like with that trim the payloads are lower?
7.3 or 6.7?
Will I still be under the weight of CDL requirements?

They're not come out and saying "This is the c9" but instead doing the whole "This previews where Corvette styling could go". But we all know that means this is a good chance we're looking at the c9 in concept car form. 2 other Corvette design concepts will be revealed by or before Goodwood. My guess is these 3 concepts will all be different design proposals for c9, and the one with the best reception will be greenlit.
I really wish Ford did more of this sort of thing.
I see it’s been a while since this thread was active, but I just want to ask—has anyone noticed a difference if you wait to tow your RV until after the first oil change? I’ve heard some say it's best to let the engine settle in a bit more before putting it under heavy load, but I've also seen others tow almost right away with no issues. Curious what your experiences have been.
