Didn't think about all that before reading your post.   Biker16, would you say the influence of legacy automakers and oil companies is keepin' EV from growing faster in Europe too? Look at how EV market share has been doin' in Planet Europe, Planet America, and Planet Red China from 2010 to 2023:

But 80s futurism is in right now. I just believe a slightly chunkier, more mechanical look would compliment the beefy off-road tires and raised ride height better than a super rounded off and sleek design.

I've never hit the switch on mine.  I'm 5'-10", so a bit shorter than you guys.   I also have a 2 door, so maybe there's more room since I think the front doors are a bit longer.  I honestly couldn't even tell you where the light switch is exactly...I don't think I've touched it since I put it in auto when we got it.

Yeah, the height will probably do it!  I'm 6'0.  Probably just depends how the seat is positioned, etc.  They definitely put that switch right on the corner/angled just right to get hit

Yeah, I've done that a few times over the years....       I just had the camera one done and the rear suspension thing done.  And literally the same day I picked mine up from that, I got the seatbelt and fuel pump ones in the mail lol.
