Even the big dealers are very systematic about how they stock the lot, because it's all about numbers. The order guides used to even state an expected percentage of orders per trim level. For example, 2018 Fusion showed 10% S, 75% SE, 15% Titanium, and then even broke it down within trim levels to the sublevels. Sometimes they were right, sometimes not. A store I was at had some specific unwritten rules (well, all their rules were unwritten, or else they'd have had to apply them equally to everyone, but that's another story) about ordering stock units. F-150's were STX and XLT 302A. No Oxford White because we could always get one from someone else (weird, I know). Early in the order cycle, we'd have one or two Lariats. Never stock King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, or basic XL. Casket colors were best - gray, silver, black. A couple reds were fine, but they believed nobody bought blue - "no-sale blue". Supercab Ranger STX in Saber when that was available? Literally called a "goofy ass truck in a goofy ass color". We always stocked Expeditions, but only the MAX version because the owner preferred those. They also had a real tendancy to push people to take a vehicle that was 90% of what they wanted if we could dealer trade for it, or had it on the lot. Willing to sacrifice color to have it right now? Willing to take a different trim level that's similar but not quite the same? Now, I'm at a store that orders more customer order vehicles than I've ever seen. Why? Because we want people to have their vehicle the right way, the right setup, the right options. Besides, I really like doing order-outs, those are some of the happiest folks I get to work with when their custom rig comes in and they get to take it home.

Could it be that since the PB U Haul has a longer box, it requires a longer wheelbase that Ford does not offer?

I see that as crowding, as well, but I'll wait and see what the actual results for each bring to market. That said, your examples typically involved an SUV with most options installed vs. an AWD boulavardier unlikely to experience anything rougher than a pothole or a well maintained dirt road. GIven the Bronco's dedicated hardware, this will be a different situation...albeit with a likelihood toward "soft roader" uses.

Ford Bronco See-Through Roof Panels Potentially Revealed By New Patent This could hint at the Skylands feature. Basically a slide back sunroof type thing instead of the Jeep fabric roof. It'd be even more neat if it could somehow remove, but I'd be surprised about that.

Like I said in the other thread: When I saw these reports and images coming out, I thought they were AI, or some student project. This design is horrible to be a Ferrari, I don't know what they were thinking. I've honestly not been the biggest fan of Ferrari design of tha last gen of models (their current crop are better) - I think the early 2000s (or older) Ferraris balance performance with "pretty" design, whereas models since then often have too many design elements for my liking. This goes the other way, with an anonymous block that looks like a student started forming a car shape on a foam/clay model and then just stopped part way through. I just want to know how these projects get approved.........Does anyone actually sit back and look at it and think "does this look good?" "does this fit the brand?" https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYyIVN5pNg2/?igsh=cjJsM2tjc2YwNzR5

The average rental truck customer does not give a crap about what it is, as long as there are two things met, 1.) its actually there and 2.) it is not a ridiculously overpriced rental. -
