Things are dragging quite a bit. Maybe the hold up with the mustang sedan is they've decided to just release it alongside the next gen coupe previewing both around the same time. That would explain why it's apparently not coming until 2028/29 which lines up with s750 timelines more or less. I don't see them bringing an s650 based sedan to market in 2028, and then immediately making it look outdated by revealing a new coupe with fresher styling. That would torpedo a lot of the appeal for the product. Giving both a fresh new design and releasing at the same time is more logical. -
Explorer had a King Ranch version pre-refresh, but I guess they didn't bring it back (yet?) post-refresh. I've seen a few of these ones, and the problem with those options are that mine has the factory headliner thing, so I can't put anything else on without removing that.

Apparently there's a company that does aftermarket roof panels with extra sound insulation. They're not cheap, but I've heard they're high quality. That could be something you should consider as well. Apparently makes the interior a lot quieter by itself. -

I never really pay attention to the Expedition, but it offers a King Ranch model Explorer is just Platinum. -
Did they drop King Ranch for both?

Or King Ranch for the F-series I'm surprised that Ford doesn't have a special luxury trim for the Explorer or Expedition anymore, given the fact they are all about trying to sell high end trim levels. I know Eddie Bauer won't work anymore...but there has to be some sort of branding opportunity with it. -
The quieter cabin is also definitely nice......that's also a complaint I have (yes I know, limits to a removable roof etc, but clearly they've shown they can make changes to address this... I actually think I prefer the two tone top (painted black) over the body color, but I get what they were going for with this. I'm a bit surprised there's only one "green" interior color (and not a brown-ish alternative). I don't believe this is a special edition, aside from the Filson First Edition version (the orange one).....it seems like this is going to be a trim level for at least a few years, similar to how Ford used to have Eddie Bauer models for Explorer, Expedition, etc.

Agree....it's getting old.....and all we keep hearing is "wait until ______" for years...

Hard to say since we don't have GM/Ram truck numbers to compare to until the beginning of next month.
