If launch is still one for late 2027, does that still mean the reveal is happening Q1 in Detroit? I know Borg heard the revealed was delayed, but the last I heard directly from Ford channels was that it was still on for a early 2027 reveal.    Looked it up, Ford is saying pre-orders will open in early 2027. I feel like that had to coincide with the reveal itself. 

Its hard to innovate and turn a profit if your competition is dumping products on your market below market. 

Government fiscal year ends in October aka Q4 also 

The T3 and Bullet Train EV are being written down but I'm sure some of that equipment is going to be repurposed. The CE1 program is still spending money without generating a profit till it gets into production Q4 of next year. 

That would defeat the purpose of reporting Model e separately. With how many losses Ford takes around EVs, it would be harder to justify to investors and to the public the actions Ford takes around EVs (cancelling F-150 Lightning, going all in UEV) and raise questions around their core ICE/Hybrid and Pro businesses if they hid the EV losses inside the others gains.    It is not strictly necessary especially now that they’ve limited the losses, but the past few years could have made Ford look a lot worse than it was.

I'm not in the market for a BEV right now, but I am eager to see this little truck. I'm bracing for my heart strings to be tugged.

If they slid them over to Model e, that could skew the loss to a lower number or even a small margin improvement.

Their online PR person has said definitively that they mean customers will take delivery of their vehicle in 2027. SOP is supposed to be in July, so I think customer deliveries probably are October.

Meaning production begins 4th quarter or deliveries 4th quarter? Might be early 2028 before customer deliveries start.
