Pretty good month overall, with the exception of discontinued Escape/Corsair and the EVs. Ranger dropped off again....wonder if more F-150s being available affects Ranger? Lincoln had a great month, with all models way up aside from Corsair, obviously.

Range Rover Is Killing Off Its Two Cheapest SUVs - Autoblog Range Rover boss Martin Limpert has confirmed to Autocar that the Evoque and Velar will be discontinued. Their production will continue into 2027, but the British luxury marque isn’t planning direct replacements. Instead, the "entry-level" role will be shared by the upcoming Range Rover GT and the Range Rover Sport.

I don't see the Bronco pickup really selling in huge numbers vs say the outgoing Ranger. The F-100 (if its basically a HD Ranger) would fix most of the issues the Ranger has. -

I'm trying to think of what ICE products would have CE1 learnings apllied to them first. They could make Ford's trucks even higher quality and more profitable. But because it's such a radical new assembly and engineering method, I don't see Ford gambling their truck lineup on that this early on. -
Customers will ultimately decide whether this is an issue of concern. If it matters to them, and sales of the new trucks drop (or need more incentives to maintain sales), then GM will get the message.

I think the f100 has serious potential for fleet buyers in particular, but I feel like Ford is just making their truck lineup way oversaturated. Fathom, maverick, f100, bronco pickup, potentially keeping the ranger overseas, f-150, super duty, f-650. I just feel like when the pie is already sliced this thin, it's just a case of diminishing returns. Of all of them, I'm probably most excited for the bronco pickup. The ranger doesn't really have a strong identity right now. Replacing it with a boxy struck that ideally looked like the scout truck or a Rivian, with beefed up comments from something like the ranger super duty to make it more capable than basically any other midsized pickup while costing basically the same as a Tacoma would be an awesome product. -
I love it and think they need to push this out to the US....the version here is very elegant but lost, lost in the market. This still retains the lincoln look but pushes the design and makes a statement...not sure how anyone can defend what we have here with it's medicore sales.

Absolutely from a technology standpoint. But now they're paying the price for years of overproduction.

Yea, that's the Chinese commie way. But regardless of how or when them Chinese companies were forced into it, several of those companies are now global leaders when it comes to EV design and manufacturing expertise. The big shots at Ford recognize this, that's why Jimbo said: "We are going to partner with the Chinese where we do not have [intellectual property], where we can be more capital efficient in places like Europe or Southeast Asia."
