I agree that a "Fee" must be charged equally to all customers. It's up to the customer to negotiate a better price for the product and/or trade in.  The last car I leased, a 2018 Escape, carried a $600 (now at $695) "Acquisition Fee." on a 24 month lease, plus a $150 document fee from the dealer. We turned in that car for a 2021 Ranger ('nother doc fee)which we bought. We had no intention of buying that car at lease end, but if we had, there would've been a document fee there, too.   I'm about to buy a a new motorcycle (2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour, for y'all moto-heads) which will carry a doc fee of I believe $200. Maybe I should request a $200 "inventory reduction fee" as the cost of doing business with me.

I recall seeing a Flex prototype at an auto show in 2005 called the Fairlaine. It had bamboo wicker hilights in the interior, sliding rear doors and was very close to the production Flex. We leased an SEL in 2015; wish now we'd have bought it at lease end. We'd probably still have it.  

I didnt realize how small the puma was. It’s 164” long, which makes it much smaller than a Honda hrv, Mazda cx30, and Nissan kicks. It’s about the length of a Kia soul. All of these vehicles start around 20-25k. $35k for the puma would not work at all here. I know a lot of you like its styling, but I’m not sure it would do well here based on that alone. 

The project name was Fairmont, thinking was a “Hampton styled” vehicle… Saw them when I was state side in 2009, looked a pretty cool vehicles and  thought D3 probably added a fair bit to cost but I guess they were shooting for a more premium vehicle.

Ford said they did just that - ignored Camaro and Challenger and benchmarked BMW and other European sports cars.

More people?   I bet it doesn't look this good.
