And Field did it in exactly the timeframe he was given - four to five years after he was hired by Ford in 2021! Thanks for sharin' that tidbit.   I'm more confident now that the skunkworks and CE1 efforts are on the right track, even though Galhotra leading Product Creation and Industrialization still worries me.

There is nothing there that indicates model E will be assimilated into Ford Blue.  What is changing is that many of the things learned by the skunkworks team are being rolled out across ford blue and ford pro vehicles.  The skunkworks team continues as before under Clarke.   The reason to separate them is to highlight how well blue and pro are doing.  If it was combined it would say Ford only made 4% and hide the fact that blue was at 8% and pro was at 12% (I made those up but they're in the ballpark).  Until Model E starts turning a decent profit they need to be reported separately.

Can we just start calling them Subotas?

I can’t imagine it being anywhere near as sloped as this and still look like a truck. I think he might be off on this one. Even from the pics we have seen, it was maybe sloped a bit more than usual but nothing close to this (at least that we could tell)

Interesting tidbit from Borg, the skunktruck has a similar front end slope to this. Not super surprising, but I hope it looks more appealing on that. I've heard it looks pretty close to the electric small Toyota pickup concept that was called like the TPU.    If it looked basically identical to that with a beefier looking front end, it would look pretty good imo.

That's my concern too - that the aero doesn't come into play until certain speeds, so hopefully CE1 ranges will be ok.     Yup, this thing is clearly an aero-first design (makes sense given the name).  Borg said he loved how it looked and would've bought one.........I feel like it's equivalent to Flex/MKT in that it may have had a group of loyal followers, but the general buying public would be turned off by it.
