I'd agree, I don't see it necessary to offer a removable roof for the Lincoln model. A large opening roof would be enough. Nah, that thing isn't pretty to look at, IMO. They can do better....

I wonder what'll happen when Toyota finally enters the segment as hinted at. Will Ford actually continue trying, or will it retreat and call it a "boring" segment and leave it as they have with other products/segments?

At least Mercury was part of the same company lol. I have to ask - at what point is it worth staying in business if your product lineup becomes a rebadge of another company's products?

They’ll just run it down the other line. At some point Ford needs to shut or get off the pot. If just one part of the line restricts the type of vehicle an entire plant can produce how can that not be a priority to address?

Well as far as I can tell/see, it looks like a truck and a not a science project, so that is a huge help! Overall size, it looks like pre T6 Ranger in overall length, but sits far closer to the ground, making it look smaller. So far very encouraging so far... And IMO this was setup and not as organic as made out to be. -
2026 is the last year for this generation 8 series and there most likely will never be another like it. I don't buy cars based on style but this model is a looker, imho. What I do like is the twin turbo V8 power, tech that makes sense, and physical buttons for most useful controls. It also features superb ride, handling, quietness and overall luxury. My new ride:

Also it seems to me the camo is partially obstructing the door windows, this is really heavy camo. edit: I found the dashboard.
