I don't doubt there'd be sales. But there wouldn't be many, IMO. Plus, there'd be the chicken tax, making it DOA from the get-go.

Surprised my aimless question dug something up. The guy also pointed out the white is poking out from below the wrap, which I had never noticed before. It matches this picture. Whether or not the vehicle would succeed all depends on what the price would have been (if it was like $42k I am skeptical unless it was a super high quality). The look is very aero like the Lucid Gravity which I personally like but that is also a luxury vehicle for a company probably ahead of Ford on engineering EVs until the UEV platform.

Why? I don't think this is any sort of shot at Ford/Ford's team. The guy gets to head up design for a company of nothing but supercars, which I feel is most designers' dream job?

Idk, in past interviews, he seemed really loyal to ford, and being in charge of most of Fords passion products like mustang, supercars, and probably the bronco, sounds like a dream job. -
Here are a couple photos from the Chinese Corsair interior

I'll say this oddly instills me with more confidence and excitement for Ford's future EV efforts. In the sense that this thing isn't the abomination I thought it was going to be. Again, not great, but it's leagues better than what I was envisioning. So if this is the low point for the design of Ford EVs, I'm actually not that concerned about what the future brings. -
I'd assume it'd get the current Chinese setup (which was basically our interior with a screen on the passenger side).

I think the main thing throwing me off is the headlight placement and the shape of the DRLs. It looks like you have the main headlight design super low, and than you have this funky DRL on the good above it. Kinda like this but stranger looking. -
I agree. I've said from the beginning the pricing won't make sense once you look at competitors and the features they come standard with. Sure, some folks will buy completely stripped Slate models, but the pricing is too close to forgo those options, IMO.

Dunno....but, it is becoming Ford's most lucrative export point.
