It would be difficult to get enough eyeballs on a channel like that today. I think it's probably too late for these big media companies to invest in their TV networks again and reverse the cord-cutting epidemic. It will be interesting to see how this Skydance mess turns out. They say they have about 50 networks that no longer produce original programming. -
If you are looking to buy a new F-150 to carry a slide-in truck camper, be aware that Ford stopped making a slide-in Camper Package beginning with the 2024 model year. Using a F-150 from 2024 to the present without the certified camper package could void your warranty for truck-related damage. The only F-Series currently available for slide-in campers is the F-250 through F-450. I realize these new composite campers are lighter than the usual slide-ins but I'm not sure Ford sees it that way if there is an issue with truck damage. Probably best to ask your dealer when you talk to them.

Talked to a buddy who works at Andy Mohr Automotive. He confirmed that GM is constraining Bolt production and that even dealerships like their location in Plainfield, IN that sold lots of Bolts in the past aren't gettin' much allocation on the '27. The ones they get sell quickly, but GM simply ain't building all that many. Hence the High Demand indicator for '27 Bolt sales listings in Central Indiana

There is talk about building an all season road to Nunavut, junctioned off the Trans Labrador Highway. Currently, air and sea are the only all season routes, as ice roads are no longer laid since the mining ended. A road trip to Nunavut is a bucket list journey, so I pay loose attention to progress. -
My wife and I participated in the BMW Ultimate Driving Event Challenge while vacationing in Phoenix last week. They had performance driving school instructors demonstrate the X3 and the new iX3 on an autocross course. Then the participants got to strut their stuff, with the instructors providing guidance. Both X3 and iX3 acquitted themselves very well in this environment. Agile and composed all around. Them BMW purists have nothin' to worry about, at least with the current X3 and iX3. BMW has the ultimate drivers car thing down pat with these products. Hopefully the Ford big shots understand that, and hopefully let Lincoln be Lincoln

That's what I envision; a footprint between a Dodge Dakota and a first gen Tundra. -
Agree 100%. Hope that is the case. A frequent contributor here with good insight has suggested that Australia will likely get some kind of a plug-in power train for the Ranger replacement (because of emission regulations) but probably something different for North America.

Yea, the Ford big shots themselves asked why. Their answers to why are in the article linked on the first page: "Lincoln will phase out the importation of vehicles from China for the U.S. market" "Lincoln is a quintessentially American brand" If they strengthen the Lincoln product lineup in the U.S. by keepin' Gator fresh and by adding several UEV based utilities, Lincoln sales should increase significantly in 2030 compared to today.
