The mustang starts at 32k with the GT at 46k. 8k is a big jump, unless this is only offered on the premium trim and then it’s only 4k. I think the better option would have been to make this an appearance package only. Add the RTR grille, wheels, a hood from the GT and call it a day. It would be cheaper to make, cost less, and in my opinion, sell more. I think ford should do the same with the bronco too.

Of course they’re not going to be mothballed, Ford has billions invested and needs to see a return from day one. Whatever is decided, battery plants will be making something, EV plants will be making something, the biggest mistake would be getting stuck in neutral and doing nothing.
