The Horror!!! The only reason why they did not built it was that it would step on the toes of the Falcon too much. -
Current Nautilus, and upcoming Corsair will use the 2.0EB hybrid. -
The Corsair? Did you mean Nautilus? The Corsair uses the same 2.5 Atkinson cycle engine as in the Escape hybrids.

Corsair already uses a 2.0 turbocharged 4-cyl plus the hybrid components.

The 2.3 Ecoboost is already in the Ranger PHEV hybrid in ROW.

2.3L as in the ecoboost engine in the full size bronco? Were there rumors of that engine being made a hybrid? Seems overly complex for turbo and hybrid. The current gen Escape uses a 2.5L hybrid system. That could likely port over to the BS as is with minimal effort.
