I dunno, its not bad, but its also reminds me of this-like they took a straight edge to it -
To me it seems like reworking and rebranding of T6 Ranger and SD but I could be 180 wrong on the exact details…

Ford claims the aerodynamics on the new truck is 15% better than other trucks and control systems that are more efficient than those of Chinese manufacturers. All of that adds up to 50 miles extra range….. The other exciting part is, Ford will use gigacasting, or “unicastings,” to reduce the number of parts from 146 to build the current Maverick to just two for its upcoming pickup.

1. He wants to make money. That means you do not invest in one fund that heavily. 2. He doesn't have billions in liquidity just sitting around doing nothing. Just like Musk, most of their wealth is tied to stocks. They would have to give up stock in other items to invest that heavily in another company. -
Would you anticipate the F-100 to also have a lighter duty version for customers that don’t need the ~4000 lb payload capability? Or do you see Ford pointing that customer set to the Bronco pickup?

Currently, converting F150 to RHD post factory results in a vehicle that’s about $30,000 more expensive than Ranger Super Duty. Globally, emissions and fuel economy are driving Ford for solutions that seem to be driving the popular diesel Ranger to extinction in the next 4-5 years. A bigger heavier RSD or F100 steps outside of that legal frame work and probably justifies the effort - the side benefit is a perfect match for what Ford USA wants just below F150.

correct, my point being the track is near on identical to F150 and F250 from whence the axles came. If Ford USA is formulating a new truck, it could either axle set. Indeed, I think the change in parts sets will move the needle significantly. (Ford looking at an F Truck branded sales solution to the Tacoma?)

Let’s hope it is true and that this mind blowing engineering also quickly makes its way into the Ford ICE and hybrid products.

https://electrek.co/2026/06/24/ford-edge-over-china-30k-ev-platform/ We already knew most of this. But Farley making the claim that the engineering is gonna blow people's minds, and that it's cooler engineering than a hypercar sounds promising.
