The 5 star rating system now includes points for active safety items, things like lane keeping system, lane departure Warning, auto high beams, good headlights, automatic emergency braking, amber rear turn signals all get manufactures points for a 5 star rating.

The A plan discount doesn’t change. It’s roughly 4% which is only $2k on a $50k truck. The other discounts are rebates which are available to everybody and those typically range from $1k to $8k or higher depending on model and year. In other words, the vehicle public price can vary greatly but you’ll still pay 4% less than the public.

As we all know or kinda know, about 85% of all questions are disguised opinions. Sometimes very loosely disguised to say the least. So I`ll just cut right to my opinion. That bad orange man killed a retired couple by stating he "hoped" a certain drug was going to help save peoples lives that had the WuFlu. His hopes and wanting to say that he all but prayed that there might be a way to stop the WuFlu out there and wanted to be the first to say so. (we all know his wanting to be first thingy) Being a somewhat educated Purdue Boy I too wanted something to point too as the sniper that would get the frickin WuFlu killer. So I almost felt bad for the drummers that were almost in tears when reporting this tragedy. I did feel bad for the terrible bad orange man for no other reason than he had just wanted to be the group leader that could say I knew we had a sniper that got that dam WuFlu. But, I never thought the President had any blood on his hands because I am not a sheepie. Nope the old sheep dog started looking for some answers, not looking for questions disguised opinions. I use Rain X brand Spot Free car wash, which seems to do a good job.

I believe the special heat blocking and/or HUD support properties of these windshields are embedded within and not in surface coatings so should not be the cause of your spotting issues. In my younger years I washed my cars and used chamois skins to do wipe down after rinsing, especially on all the glass (windows, mirrors, lights) to avoid spotting.

To avoid spots, I use my leaf blower, then microfiber cloth to finish dry. I also use eagle one wipe and shine detailer. The water beads like crazy.

Toyota trucks really aren't used as work trucks either.....which certainly would affect reliability.

What problem again does autonomous vehicles solve? Traffic? So instead of a bus or a traditional taxi, you can take an AV-Taxi? But we already have buses, and taxis, and even uber now, so what exactly does an AV bring to the table? So you don't have to sit on a bus with other people? Okay but we already have taxis, and uber. So maybe you just want to sit in a car by yourself and you can't afford your own car or you live in NY and that's not practical... so you hail an AV, but what really does that offer that is so much better than a taxi? Is it worth all the technological cost and risks just to avoid dealing with a human driver? Maybe you say it's more sanitary.. but you're still getting into a car that countless dirty humans have already rode in, touched everything, coughed on, wiped their boogers on... Gosh maybe someone can help me understand this but I just DON'T get the AV hype... I don't see a need for this technology, outside of maybe replacing long-haul truckers.

I heard the IIHS is working on their newest test - known as the "Banana" test. it measures the impact a pedestrian might have if they slip on a banana peel and hit the car. All vehicles currently get 1 star on it, meaning all cars are now death traps.

I still think you have to look at all of the C2 vehicles in development - that's a lot of resources to get at least 5 brand new vehicles out the door plus whatever performance models they're doing for Bronco Sport. I wouldn't be surprised to see some type of performance package for Escape next year or the year after but not a full blown ST.

Toyota fan boys are very strange. They love and buy Toyota because they despise American designed and built trucks, then they spin to brag that somehow a Toyota is an American truck. The simple fact is: America was not built on the backs of foreign trucks.

Democrats know that Trump can win re-election on his economic successes alone. The hype about this supposed pandemic and resulting shutdown is all designed to tank our economy to keep Trump from winning again. The only person I can think of who could pull this off is George Soros yet I haven’t seen or heard of anything to that effect, yet. This shut down kills two birds with one stone. It also begins the process of the “sheepie” accepting being told what to do and slowly giving up their civil liberties. This whole thing reminds me of a false flag event.
