  1. what’s going to happen is the same thing that happened when @ice-capades used to post the weekly commodity restraints. He’s gonna get tired of trying to help and I don’t blame him.

  5. It's very misleading with Window Stickers that show "Convoy" as the shipping method. The vast majority of vehicles are shipped by rail directly from the plant and arrive at the final rail destination (Ramp). The vehicles are then transferred to a transport company that then assigns the vehicle and a driver to a car carrier for delivery to the dealership. In some cases, vehicles may be moved from the rail ramp at the plant to another ramp in the area to then be loaded onto a rail car. Your Dealer has 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility Report which includes the complete order history and all scheduling, production and shipping status updates through final delivery to the dealership. The report will include the rail carrier and rail car number which can be used for tracking purposes.

  7. Most everyone thinks it's an 'ST Line', i.e. the visual bits of an ST but not the performance upgrades.

  8. There is nobody here that works for Ford management that can help you. This forum is private and not affiliated with Ford Motor Company. The moderators do not work for Ford. Therefore there is nothing anybody here can help you with. There are literally thousands of people in the same situation.

  9. If you look at my original post I laid out my situation and asked the question. Ford, knowing my situation that this ordeal has been going on since January 2021, would move my "hot", "Priority 1", "Expedited" order would move my order out for the third time because of supply issues then drop a truck with the same options in place of mine. I keep getting from Ford, "we have no idea how that happened". All I got was should of, could of, didn't handle it right comments. Then Ice-capades stepped in and stated that most of what I posted could not be true. In fact it is all true. I am still trying to find someone in the Ford management are who can follow up and get this to the finish line. I have the RAV department wanting my F150 lemon back now but Ford can't seem to get my replacement vehicle delivered. Again, in Feb,March if I was not told by Ford and the dealer this should take 12 weeks I would not be so frustrated.

  10. Unfortunately, there's no WBDO Glossary or anything with a reference to the OBKCY code and trying to search for anything at the FMCDealer.com portal is always an effort in futility. It's just something related to the "Material Availability" notation. WBDO error notices like this are related to commodity or plant restraints similar to the notes available in the AM Scheduling Preview Report.

  14. Sorry, too much of what you've posted just doesn't seem right. Reached out to Ford Board of Directors? Yeah, right. Then Ford Zone Manager got involved? Yeah, right. No reply to e-mail messages or phone calls? There's usually a reason why. Enjoy your Chevy!

  15. You can contact customer service. Ask for a rail car number . Mine showed shipped on 6/29 . Customer service gave me a rail car # and update that it was in St Louis on 7/2 . Called the rail service a day later gave them the car # and it showed to be in Mesquite Tx yard empty. Now the wait begins to get convoy to deliver.

  16. I am on my 4th RAV person who is a "team lead". Neither the dealership owner nor I could get the first person to respond to emails or phone calls. That went on for more than 2 weeks. I finally reached out to Ford's board of directors who promptly had someone step in and get involved. That's when the Ford regional rep had to get involved. After that it seems like things started moving but it has been 1 step forward 2 steps back. Now it seems everyone in the ford organization including the plants are on vacation for 2 weeks. No one will respond to emails or phone calls. I am done begging them to sell me a 80K truck. I only buy about 6 vehicles a year and I guess Ford doesn't value that. Probably going to be driving my first Chevy by tomorrow evening.

  17. He wasn’t yelling at you. He was giving you good advice. The dealer is your point of contact. You’re paying them. Make them do their jobs.

  19. Smart move on that couple's part. The epic, unmitigated disaster known as MyFordTouch caused Ford to fall from 5th place in the 2010 J.D. Power IQS down to 23rd in 2011, and further down to 28th in 2012.

  21. Up date on hood alignment issue.....Local dealership (Parks Lincoln) fixed it. Was in body shop over night, they gave me an Enterprise Rental loaner (BMW 330I....over complicaed controls and hard to get in and out of....over rated small sedan seemed to me) Could not ask any dealership to do more.

  22. LOL...the oil companies don't set the price of crude oil or gas, just like the ranchers don't set the price of their herds.
