  1. 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Spy Photos Disclosed; Will It Arrive A Year Ahead Of Scheduled Release? The 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, thought to soon become the fastest car in its segment, was slated to be released in 2018. However, spy photos and leaked details of the car led to speculation that it might be available as early as 2017. If this happens, Chevrolet Camaro LZ1 might be facing stiff competition in 2017 onwards. http://www.autoworldnews.com/articles/24636/20161213/2018-ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-spy-photos-disclosed-will-it-arrive-a-year-ahead-of-scheduled-release-video.htm
  2. Imagine the consternation at GM if the expy/navi take a big chunk of their sales. Their plant utilization would take a big hit.
  3. I have a '13 Flex. I had three random people ask me about in the last two months. If they cancel it I will probably look at Expedition as a replacement.
  4. I saw a commercial on Football over the weekend where Ford is offering similar for XLT F-150s with chrome or sport package. think it was 10,750.
  5. At a recent real-time Java conference, the participants were given an awkward question to answer: "If you had just boarded an airliner and discovered that your team of programmers had been responsible for the flight control software, how many of you would disembark immediately?" Among the forest of raised hands only one man sat motionless. When asked what he would do, he replied that he would be quite content to stay aboard. With his team's software, he said, the plane was unlikely to even taxi as far as the runway, let alone take off.
  6. GM 3Q profits will probably be high as they are still producing like its a growing market. once the market starts to contract then you will see their profits plunge,
  7. I think those three lights are required for vehicles over a certain GVW. usually they are on the top of the cab. Ford found a loop hole and put them in the grill because they did not want their fancy truck to look commercial.
  8. No buy alcohol futures. Drinking and no longer driving
  9. Explorer and PIU combined are only down 237 units from last year.
  10. Well they're up from the new lowered old numbers but down from the old inflated numbers.
  11. Ford Motor Co. on Tuesday said its July sales fell 2.8 percent compared to the same month a year ago. The Dearborn automaker sold 216,479 total vehicles last month. Fleet sales to rental companies and government customers were up 6 percent, while retail sales fell 6 percent, Ford said. “Trucks and vans continue to be market strengths for Ford,” Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service, said in a statement. “Van customers rewarded us with another strong year-over-year gain, and F-Series had its best retail sales this year.” http://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/2016/08/02/automakers-report-july-sales/87945578/

  14. They need to get some super voting shares so they can dilute the mundane share as much as they want.
  15. I'd like to see something along the lines of a 4 liter EB V8. I think that is the sweet spot
  16. I do a lot of bicycle riding. I don't know anyone who rides a lot who has not been hit or had some type of run in with cars. ( run off road) . Even if you are super aware some asshat putting on makeup will do something so unexpected you can't even react.

  19. Space between wheel arch and door and front overhang. I think it will look more like the Taurus spy shots then the Conti concept.
  20. I agree. I am an engineer and I understand constraints and priotities. But you get so much bang for the buck by being light its a no brainer. Ford obviously thinks its important as well. I think we will see how much importance Ford puts on lightweighting with their next ground up design.
