pcsario
Headlights suck and they rehashed the interior of the C-Max in this. The rest is fine. Too bad we got the fleet queen instead. danup
Is it my imagination or did they tone down the Hyundai Sonata space insect look in the production version? It seems a lot more palatable now.
silvrsvt
Wonder if this styling will work for replacement Escape....then again the Explorer America Concept kinda has the same style/shape grill....

Must have been thinking of the Iosis-X or the Volvo XC-60 concept, which was pretty hyper. Edited February 15, 2008 by Edstock

X2!! I loved this part: and is motivated by Ford's 2.0-liter Duratorq TDCi common rail diesel. 136 hp and 236 lb.-ft. of torque Too bad we are not worthy. P71_CrownVic
Yeah, too bad we get this..... I would much rather have a Kuga than an Edge. Diesel FTW!
Michael Reynolds
I think he meant the Escape, which yes I would rather have the Kuga over the Escape any day of the week. The side profile is kinda RAV4-esque.... Edited February 15, 2008 by Michael Reynolds

Ford-150
Of course...I would settle for this: WTF did they do to that Excursion....its about as useful as the Hummer H2 SUT
pcsario
Yeah, too bad we get this..... No, we got the Escape. Unless Ford just suddenly downgraded the Edge to Escape's pricepoints. BTW, too bad indeed, Edge was another rush job, they forgot to put the same effort inside, unlike FOE. What's wrong with the headlights? I think they look fine. I do think it could use some larger diameter exhaust pipes though.

soupy
I think I'd take a Kuga over an Escape as well. I too have notices the RAV-4-esque roofline/profile I wonder if Kuga has choice of 4 or 6cyl. I wonder if Kuga has a new 4cyl for next year, an improved 6cyl with a 6speed trans. Kuga hybrid? Still rather have one?

How dare you rush the Edge like you did and make it the best-selling midsize CUV in the country within a year of its release!!!!

92merc
The Kuga looks good. Escape is outdated. Dump the Escape bring the Kuga. Look at how well the CRV is selling. With the Kuga, Ford has a shot at their kind of sales. Besides Ford is moving to a global platform. That only says Escape's days are numbered. Or at least in it's current platform.
