Moosetang
..gas a buck 89 in missouri...put the 6.2L in the stang Weighs too much. Fine for Raptor, but rather have a 5L GTDI in Mustang
LincolnFan
Goddamnit yeah! About time Ford sacked Toyota here, if this thing can really off-road Toyota will become a endangered species in Saudi Arabia, just like those old F-150. mustang_sallad
i'm all about environmentally responsibility and all that... but this thing is HOT! In that orange it reminds me a bit of the Bowler Nemesis, that'd be an interesting duel... I really like that FORD grill actually. Very bold! Sparks
Wizard, BlueII, Igor, Lets hear some detailed specs on the 6.2. Igor--you said before that you think the 6.2 kinda got put on the back burner and now isn't what it could have been, is that information still correct? I really want this truck. I think this is a really good sign from Ford, actually not cancelling this product in these bad times. The SVT Lightning/Cobra nameplate is so uniqe and resonates very strongly in the performance community.
RichardJensen
Well, the Ford website says this thing gets Hill Descent Control. Must've worked that out with JLR before selling them off.
rmc523
I love it! And that's coming from a guy who usually hates all forms of off-roading vehicles. I think it looks great, and I'd love to have one (but where would I use it? ).

Where God has given you green Earth, you can bring the Raptor to rip it to shreds. I have the biggest smile on my face after seeing pictures of this thing. I know where to use it, I just don't know where near me.....most areas near me are developed for miles, and if you go west, you hit the everglades/swamp/water/etc... WC-MAN
Would rather see a Blue oval on the grille. Otherwise YEAH BABY! Beautiful truck!
NickF1011
OMG! That grill needs to be standard. Nice! I don't know. It looks a bit overdone to me. I love the rest of the truck though. Interesting integration of the SVT logo into the side vents. I love the Raptor logo on the tailgate also. And mmmmmmmm 6.2L V8. SVT put a lot of effort into this one for sure! Bravo!! RONM
Wait till they show us a picture of the shocks they use on this thing. I got to see one up close at the dealer intro show and it was amazing, like something straight out of the baja endurance race.
Tornado
Great job Ford with a new, original idea. I love eveything about it except the grill, but that could be easily changed.
