Sixt9coug
Dude, I think you need a job as a "Trademark Name Tracker Downer Guy" (queue the Budweiser music). Mr Toilet Paper refiller guy was the best. Love the last line "Is there anybody out there?"

Usually I'm backgrounding criminal's rap sheets and digging through FOIA requests, I had some downtime tonight and I spent it digging. You're welcome! Oh, and can you make that Bud a Blue Moon instead? Hold the orange.

rmc523
And I just found the Tracer mark, along with the "Tracer Titanium" mark...Since there's no "Mystique Titanium" or "Lynx Titanium" listed, Tracer very well could be the Focus variant. How fitting. (The "Titanium" comes from the New Trim Designation thread, where it looks like Ford is going to a "Titanium" trim level for both Ford and Mercury offerings.) I personally disagree with the decision that Titanium will be shared by both Ford and Mercury..... Hmmmm......let's see - we could have a LASER FOCUS with TRACERS!!!!! AHAHAHAHA!! Here's the all new for 2011 Laser Focus! And it's companion model, the Laser Focus with [Mercury] Tracers!
Sixt9coug
So PREMiERdrum is the most interesting man in the world? It's been said he can meet Euro X without urea, but still puts it in for fun. Global models are an idea he coined while judging a beauty contest. He can speak Buick in Chrysler. He is, the most interesting man in the world. AlRozzi
How about Merkur? Joking... But I like Scorpio better than Tracer, Lynx or Bobcat. Mystique is the worst name ever.
theoldwizard
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.... The "Mystique" was JUST filed for a passenger automobile trademark by Ford Motor Company on May 14th, 2009, and will be published for opposition on February 2nd, 2010. When the last Mystique was introduced the head of Mercury division actually called it the "Mercury Mistake" during the press conference ! NickF1011
Mystique is the worst name ever. Eh, it's only really bad because of the vehicle we associate it with. I don't think it's too awful.
