bzcat
So anyway... I surprised no one asked for a diesel Expedition now that we know diesel F-150 is coming. It should be a pretty low risk product extension for Ford to drop the diesel in the next Expedition too.

It could just be a mule for the unconfirmed Ranger.
mackinaw
It's on the internet, it has to be true.
fordmantpw
If it's in the F150, it will be in the Expy.

That's a lot of extra weight for the mule to haul before its even loaded with test gear.
jpd80
To me, the tinkle of that F150 exhaust sounds very much like this OK now compare that with the F150's exhaust note below So given the weight advantage F150 has over Ram 1500, adding a 3.0 V6 + 10AT could see the Ecodiesel blown out of the water... Ron W.
That's what block heaters are for That made me laugh I grew up in California, when I moved to Minnesota people mentioned block heaters and winter fronts and I had no idea what they were talking about.

silvrsvt
Should show up there as well as the next Explorer and Aviator. I don't see it having many sales in the US...overseas is a different ball game.
bzcat
The Jaguar version of the 3.0 is now rated at ~300hp and +500 ft/lbs. Of course, that is under Euro emissions regs. The US spec Range Rover Sport td6 is rated at 254hp / 440 lb-ft with ZF8H transmission http://www.landroverusa.com/our-story/news/diesel-engine.html The F-150 diesel is supposedly being tested with the new 10 speed auto but the output figures are probably the same.
