Aka making vehicle prices what they should be instead of elevated?

This program sounds desperate, IMO.

I don’t know, it’s an easy PR win and right now, Ford needs all the good PR they can get.

Eh, that's fair.

Recalls seem like a daily occurrence.

I still believe they would be selling more Nautilus if they were built in North America. Heck, there’s plenty of capacity in the United States for it, let alone Canada.

Am I right in thinking Tariff on Chinese goods is now over 50%?

Wat does that mean for Nautilus buyers?

Hopefully they overbuilt and imported a bunch before the tariffs.

Not that it means much, but they have eight on the lot at the Lincoln dealer near my office.

I think that is correct.  I guess we will see what happens.

They seemed to have nothing but new Nautili when I went to a Lincoln dealer last Sunday. At least 10 of them.

Just remember this usually replaces any existing rebates so the net price may actually be higher now depending on the rebates.

Can confirm.  Several Broncos at my local dealer were > $10k off last week, now sitting at $5-6k off.  A BRaptor that was $21k off is now $7k off.

You're absolutely correct.  I was looking at a 24 Escape, and the price has gone up ~$2k.   They were offering a 4k rebate on the 24s but now the employee pricing makes it more expensive.

They (Dealers & Ford both) may have imported extra supply pre-tarrif to get through the next ~90-120 days and see what happens.

That brings up an interesting question. Are the Raptors and Dark Horse eligible for this since they’re excluded from the normal A/X/Z program?

Well, the BRaptor at my local dealership said "employee pricing" next to it...

This report says basically any of the specialty models aren't eligible (any Raptors, Super Duties, or specialty Bronco/Mustang models, as well as '25 Expy/Navi)....basically they're throwing it on everything they have excess inventory of lol.

What can happen other than prices going up one way or another unless tariffs are rescinded?  This pricing program may help short term as a bandaid but I’m more concerned beyond June 2.

That reminds me of the days in the 70's when Dad's TV store was exclusively Zenith. The distributor that sold them to my Dad was run by a well established Jewish family, they would tell my Dad that if you could not sell it at a "sale" price, raise it instead...damn if they weren't correct.

Confirmed.  I worked at a furniture store in college.  We bought some cheap wingback chairs and marked them at $99.  Nothing.  Raised them to $300 and sold both in 3 days.
