I know the rates for travel quite well and if I use my own car for travel with the government, I'm lucky if it covers gas I use. So anyways- Just pulled this up from Gemini (just sheer laziness) The average cost to own and operate a new vehicle in the U.S. is approximately $11,577 per year or roughly $965 per month, based on 15,000 miles driven annually. This figure covers depreciation, fuel, insurance, and maintenance, though costs vary based on vehicle type (e.g., $1,714–$2,676 annually for gas) I have a HUGE issue with including depreciation-I can't write it off (normally) in my taxes and its providing a service for me to be able to go to work and do personal things. Even with having a car payment, I spend less then 11K a year in costs. I drive around 10K a year and I'd assume my gas consumption costs are about $1200-1400 a month and spend maybe $300 bucks or so in maintenance costs for a twice a year oil change. -

I was just about to post this Given the pricing of this, if Ford can make the CE1 CUV for $35K or so they'll hit a home run with it. -

Requirement like Insurance From my experience, the opposite is true people underestimate the true cost of driving. I don't know a more neutral source for ownership cost than AAA. The IRS sets the 2026 standard business mileage rate at 72.5 cents per mile, which isn't too far off from the AAA numbers.

maverick’s horsepower dropped when the new 2.0 ecoboost engine was introduced for the 2025 model year.

Son of a gun. Chalk up one more change Ford failed to convey to dealerships. Clicking on the "68" tag does say horsepower achieved with premium fuel. I'll have to adjust one of my go-to quips with the ST. I like to joke about how they've got the same horsepower as the first Vipers, but with six seats and all the comfort goodies. Hopefully this turns into something like what happened with the Maverick's 250hp, which dropped down to 238hp, then bounced back after whatever voodoo Ford did to bring it back to its proper HP.

Well, if you looked at the date of his posting, he bought it 3 weeks prior on Feb. 10, 2022....so, it would seem that he is hopefully still enjoying it. How about it @NJRonbo - are you still driving the Corsair GT? -
Hi, I wanted to ask if you have had a chance to test drive this specific unit yet to see how you feel about the transition from a sedan to the higher seating position of the Corsair?

I couldn't find one, and I have searched high and low, as well as worked with a Forscan "expert" on another forum. We have never been able to find a solution.
