Ford Authority says that production began back on September 19. There is a LOT of conflicting info about the '25 on the Net and, until I see the new Order Guide, I can't make a decision as to keeping it on my short list or ditching it. Annoying! Even Edmunds has pricing info but I often find that they lack some info early in the build, so I don't trust that. If you DO trust them, you'll see that adding back in some of the decontented features (you can't add them all back) results in no (or very little) price change over the '24s. And folks are screaming scam...
It will be interesting to see how far Ford takes this GTD idea, and if it carries over into future generations. It will also be interesting to see with Ford investing in the mustang now more than they have in decades, if it finally gets a new platform that's more driver focused, something fans have been asking for years.
I see the recipe of the 30-45 grand ecoboost and GT sticking around well into the future. But beyond that, anything is possible.
I recently purchased a 2016 MKX Reserve trim awd 2.7 ecoboost. Mileage is high at just over 130k but it's history was irresistible.

Yes, EREVs will have to be marketed carefully to explain the use cases where it excels and where it does not. For long distance road trips (and especially when towing) an EREV will not be practical compared to a conventional Super Duty. A customer that purchases one without understanding the limitations may be very disappointed with their purchase.
