And perhaps GM pushing harder with its BOF plant and SUV sales also allows Ford to do the opposite with its F Series plants and make far more money with them? (that give and take I mentioned before that’s no always obvious)

I purchased a 2022 F350 lariat used a year ago from a dealership and I found that the subframe under the motor had been cut and rewelded together why would somebody have done this?

I'm going to need to replace my 2022 Escape Hybrid very soon.  About the only possible Ford Motor Company replacement option is a Bronco Sport. But I have seen reports that the Bronco Sport, with outside mirrors, is wider than an Escape; and considerably higher, and may not fit in some garages!   Can anyone comment on this and the actual comparative dimensions??  PLEASE!!
