I'd rather pay up front and have permanent access than a monthly fee. Though I guess you could not get it, and pay for it for only a month if you needed it (i.e. road trip planned, you could pay for BC for that month and cancel the next).
You don't have to get the option?

Here come the price increases
Reuters, citing a notice sent to dealers, reports that purchasing a Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, Maverick pickup, or Bronco Sport will now cost consumers up to $2,000 more. The revised prices went into effect May 2 and will affect models arriving in dealer lots from late June.
I don’t understand this. Families continue to shrink. The average family size is 3.15 and the average household size is 2.51. Do vehicles really need to carry 2-3x the amount of people in your family/household? Having a few vehicles with 3 rows makes sense, but two rows should be your bread and butter. I’m not trying to be a bus driver over here 😂.
I think its getting to the point that might not be even enough. Just using the Escape as an example, its 9 MPG increase combined vs the 1.5L Ecoboost, with all the savings for around town driving. So maybe PHEVs will be a better solution
On larger vehicles, like the F-150, the overall savings are minuscule and hybrids are just marketed as a power adder.
Eh, I’d rather they not put it on those vehicles. Nothing like adding features that most people won’t use but will still have to pay for with higher base prices on already over priced vehicles. I’d rather not have anything related to subscriptions put in my vehicles.
