Makes me wonder how much better the lower level Mach Es would have looked if all trims had been given grille inserts…just thinking it makes it look complete.

Maybe someday an efficient method will be discovered to produce hydrogen. But today it requires a lot of energy (typically electricity) to produce it and there is no distribution system. It’s far more practical/efficient to use that electricity to charge batteries for EVs utilizing the massive electricity distribution system that already exists. I’m also more comfortable with a LI-ION battery in my garage compared to a little Hindenburg.

The big shots at Toyota are really into that, they're imagining a hydrogen society

These are official design sketches from GM's design Instagram account. I like them, they look pretty sharp and could hint at a future Camaro design. Between this, and the current charger, muscle car design is stepping up it's game, so I hope Ford brings their A-game with the styling on the s750. Because this and the charger look fantastic. -
it’s not 50 Kw hr of charge though, it’s typically going from 20% to 80% charge before the rate clips over to a much slower rate. Tesla doesn’t seem to have trouble with this.p as heating up is normal and the battery management system controls this when DC fast charging is used. its not like your power tool battery, vehicles come with heating and cooling systems that th battery management system controls to keep temp at optimum for fastest charging.

A catchy headline, but H2 is not sold or distributed as a "gas." While Hydrogen is in fact the most abundant element in the universe it abhors being on its own and pairs with itself, hence "H2." H2 is cryogenically cooled to -253ºC/-423ºF and stored at about 150 psi, or about the same as propane. Hydrogen does not exist as a free gas naturally, it combines with other elements like Oxygen. I don't want to be the rperez of FCEVs, but H2 production & transport, and fuel cell efficiency should continue to be developed to a practical state. IMHO, I think H2 fuel cells are a better strategy long term. -
Yea, in that case the passengers can move to the bed of the truck. Will IIHS come up with a test involving that? 😄

Hmmm. That answers the very rare question: "what if Ford had supplied the vehicles for Demolition Man?".
